Description
Small red-brown clay cup with handle. The body is cylinder shaped with a flat bottom. The body narrows at the top, then flares out again to form the neck and rim. The handle is attached to the edge of the rim and midway on the body. There is a horizontal clay ridge design on the body of the cup.

Narrative
Collected by H. V. S. Page. Found inside a Roman amphora (M3.26) in the ruins of an old shop on the Gaza seacoast.
