Description
Round coin with a four-sided hole in the centre, and a rim around the outer edge and the centre hole. The obverse has four characters, and the reverse has two characters. Xianfeng tongbao (top-bottom-right-left) in formal style Chinese characters are on the obverse; boo fu left-right (mintmark) in Manchu are on the reverse. Stretched style with a crescent on the right of the reverse. Heavy pitting on the rims; rim flaws, with larger one on the outer rim reverse top-right; raised fields on the top and the bottom reverse; extra metal is in the centre hole.
