Description
Rectangular bag with designs of flowers beaded on fabric surface. One side of the bag is navy fabric while other side and flap top are of light brown skin.
Narrative
According to Dr. Suzannne Steele, the pattern is almost identical to the pattern on a pair of Louis Riel’s leggings. The documentation from the Sisters of Saint Ann Museum says "Cree; Mr. & Mrs. Coubeaux." The original acquisition date was listed as 1942.
