Mask Item Number: 685/2 from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Portrait mask. Light brown wooden human face mask with a tuft of sheep's wool and four eagle feathers affixed to the centre of the forehead. Black elongated eyebrows run to the mask's edge. An l-shaped band of green paint runs down one side of the face and across the eyes and bridge of the nose. A curving band of red-brown colour runs beneath the green band and covers one side of the face and the nose; the same colour is applied in short, repeated strokes above the opposite eye.
Artist said 685/2-3 are very basic facial structure masks used as tools in teaching at Neah Bay. There is no real name for them.
