Narrative
This shin-hanga print by Kasamatsu Shiro (笠松紫浪) is signed 紫浪 (Shiro) with his seal, and the date 昭和九年九月廿九日(September 29, 1934) is stamped on the left margin. In English, the print has been titled, for example, “The Long-tailed rooster” and “Bijin and white cockerel,” but the original Japanese title hasn’t been identified.
