Obverse has RF around hole (Republique Francaise), liberty cap over hole, laurel wreath around, E M Lindauer below. Reverse has '10 cmes' left, right (10 centimes), motto 'Liberte. Egalitie. Fraternite' top, date below, privy marks left, right. Cornucopia and torch are privy marks of mint director and engraver.
