Hair Ornament Item Number: Sf470 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
Description
Hair ornament made of synthetic pearls strung on metal wire. The pearls form an oval with a figure eight inside it from end to end; a central metal star burst shaped bead is at the cross of the figure eight and two teardrop-shaped beads sit inside the loops of the figure eight. A metal pin with a bead at its end is attached by a thin metal chain and goes through the ornament to hold it in place.

Purchased in July 1978 from a stall in the Huaras Indian market.
