Description
Northwest coast style design of a whale with a raised tail in black, red and grey. Ink inscription underneath the image reads: "Tsimshian Design of a Killer Whale--Nass River District." Red numeral five in the upper right corner.
Narrative
Created by a student at the Alberni Residential School in the late 1930s. The school was located near the Tseshaht reserve, Tsahaheh 1, about 4 kilometres north of Port Alberni.
