A light blue taffeta apron. Gathered onto a waistband with ties. The fabric has woven vertical stripes with stylized flower motifs. Pieced at the bottom.

Narrative

Part of a costume acquired by the donor from a friend (name: Kellner). Costumes like this one are still worn for weddings, funerals and church festivals. If the costume is worn for a marriage, the scarf and apron would be cream or white; at funerals it would be black; various colours can be worn for church festivals according to preference.
