Description

Chain mail covering for upper body and arms, with open neck closed with two fasteners of leather. High collar, interwoven with leather strips. Laced at front and back bottom hem, and at neck.

Narrative

Collected by H. V. S. Page, who said the chain mail shirt was: "Captured in Palestine during the First World War. Posibly 400 years old." Original place of manufacture unknown.
