Round, 4 sided hole in centre, rim around outer edge and centre hole, obverse 4 characters, no writing on reverse. Taichang tongbao (top-bottom-right-left) in Chinese characters. Reverse quite smooth; rim flaw right; rim pits, flaws; file marks; varnish missing from most of coin.
