Round, square hole in centre, inner and outer rims on both sides, four Chinese characters on obverse; four Chinese characters on reverse; fields decorated with small circular punches.

History Of Use

A coin-like charm, which could have circulated (Larson, David). Probably used for ritual deposit in residences for safety and protection, possibly inside a cache inside the central beam of the room (Li Min).
