Men’s cream, loose-fitting shirt. The shirt has a keyhole neckline with string ties and wide sleeves with underarm gussets. There is decorative hand-stitching in matching white thread at seams and hems. The inside is unlined.
This type of very simple, medium length tunic was probably worn by shepherds in the subcarpathian region.
This shirt was owned by ms. Zelmac's father, andrew kusawan (1860-1935), who came to canada in the late 1800s.
