Round, four sided hole in centre, rim around outer edge and centre hole, obverse four characters, no writing on reverse. Hongwu tongbao (top-bottom-right-left) in Chinese characters. Reverse almost smooth, so possible mintmarks cannot be distinguished.
History Of Use
Normal sized circulating coin. Issue of first Ming emperor.
