Description

Long wooden handle with an elliptically shaped brown stone with tapering, pointed ends attached at the top. Wooden handle is encased in hide, a strip of which binds the stone club to the top of the handle. Two white and brown feathers are strung, along with a turquoise bead, from the top of the handle.

Narrative

Collector's tag said the club was found in 1924 in a gravel pit west of High River.
