Description

Rectangular, wool shoulder shawl and carrying cloth made of two panels sewn together with decorative stitching in the middle. The stitching is red, green, purple, pink, yellow and orange. The panels are red with bands on each end. The bands consist of thin solid and geometric patterned stripes in black, green, yellow, red and cream. Tubular edging.

Narrative

Worn around the shoulders and back with the stripes horizontal or vertical and two adjacent corners fastened on the chest by a pin. Alternately, it can be used to carry a baby or other cargo on the back by passing opposite corners across the shoulders and knotting the ends at the collarbone.
