Description

Pair of hide moccasins with multicoloured floral beadwork, an extended ankle flap, and a long tongue with a bifurcated end. The inside sole of the left moccassin (part b) is painted.

Specific Techniques

The sole of the left moccasin was made from a painted parfleche (bison rawhide) bag. Reuse of materials was common during this time.
