SLAHAL GAMBLING BASKET Snohomish
This basket holds pieces from a version of the gambling game called slahal. The players hide a set of wooden disks (one of which is marked) in shredded cedar bark, divide the bundle, and guess which bundle holds the marked piece. Bets are placed on which player will guess correctly. Late 1800s; No. 1-1370
