Two black wool textile panels, with dense gold embroidery shaped to form the tops and sides of a pair of shoes or slippers. There is a large floral motif centered on the top or toe section of each shoe form, and the panels that comprise the sides of the shoes are decorated with leaf and vine motifs. The embroidery is edged with narrow metallic cording. The black background textile has been trimmed from the edges of one embroidered panel, while the other is uncut.
