Narrative

The origin of this shawl is unknown. It was once owned by a Mrs. Clark, the owner of 'The Pagoda Shop' in Vancouver, who imported goods from China for sale c. 1925. At some point later the shop was owned by Margaret Mckinney, who gave the shawl to her sister Katherine Mckinney in her will.
