Description
Tall rhinestone crown-like metal headdress with multicoloured, twined, thread ties at the back. Ten clusters of rhinestones mounted on springs are evenly spaced along the top of the headdress.
History Of Use
Rhinestone hair pieces, such as this opera headdress/crown, would also have been worn with Cantonese Opera Cheongsam costumes/dresses in the 1920s/1930s. Western-style earrings, and high heels may also have been worn.
