Description
Cantonese opera hair ornaments. Six (parts a-f) ornaments (hair pins) that are made of dark green circular cut glass pieces attached with metal. Each piece has a short thin flat rod with a point at the bottom end and a diamond shape with sixteen dark green circular glass pieces.
History Of Use
Rhinestone hair pieces, such as these green hair pins, would also have been worn with Cantonese Opera Cheongsam costumes/dresses in the 1920s/1930s. Western-style earrings, and high heels may also have been worn.
