Description

Stemmed and barbed arrow heads (small white). Number of specimens in upper left hand corner of ledger were entered by Frank Barnett, who checked the material in 1939, while working as a volunteer at the museum. 107 original ledger number. Also note that 68 were exchanged.* NOTE: 1 Points were exchanged to Grant County PUD, 6/5/1970. See accn file. (9/22/1993, DH) Previous count was 124, of which 24 still remain to be examined. There were 16 corner-notched chert points, 5 basally notched chert points, one stemmed chert point, and one side-notched chert point. The remaining chert projectile point is not described. (6/95). One corner-notched chert point was returned to the Museum from the U.W. Anthopology Department. (L. Phillips, January 23, 1997). *Information is from the original accession ledger.
