Pestle, Stone Item Number: W1/16/4825 from the The Burke: University of Washington
Rounded cobble, broken at both ends. One broken end is flat and has flake scars around it, possibly representing use damage. the other end is broken at about a 50 degree angle. Described in W. W. Caldwell's thesis (1956 'The Archaeology of Wakemap', p. 141.) as a "club or pestle pommel in the shape of a brid's head."
