Description

Jar with blue design on a blue-white ground. The jar has a mouth with a small lip and extends out to a curving shoulder and a slight lip at the base. The design consists of flower petals around the mouth, two bands above and below a band of flowers and leaves.

Narrative

According to R. Pearson (1978), the jar was said to have come from Taiwan, but it is of a type found in grave sites in the Philippines and Indonesia.
