Lamp Item Number: M2.9 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
Description
Lamp with an overall almond shape and a filling hole at the top centre, a smaller wick hole at the pointed tip, and a recurved handle at the rounded end. The top surface of the lamp is entirely covered in cruciform relief decoration using chevron, herringbone and spiral designs. Fired to a brownish colour.
Narrative
Said to have originated in Palestine.
