House Post Fragment, Wood Item Number: 2.5E1783 from the The Burke: University of Washington
Description
Two wooden beam fragments which fit together from Old Man House site #45KP2. These beams may be footing from Old Man House proper. Excavated by Pacific NW Bell while excavating a trench through the site for a phone cable. The pieces shown adze marks, plus evidence of fire damage. Condition on arrival noted as poor - fragmented, dirty.
