Mortar, Stone Item Number: W2/19/2187 from the The Burke: University of Washington

Description

Tan, oval cobble with shallow depression pecked and ground into it. Outside of the rim of the depressin is a pecked band around the object. There are several vertical grooves pecked or ground on the sides of the object. The bottom surface is somewhat concave and shows evidence of pecking and grinding.
