Description
One of a pair of large metal spurs with long hide straps--six discs on each spur, two with teeth.
Cultural Context
Worn by men; Pujllay festival.
Narrative
The metal bracket fits around the heel of the high, laminated leather shoes and the thong is bound around the foot and ankle to secure the spurs. The spurs extend back and upwards behind the ankle.
