Flat, wooden beater, conical in shape with a smooth surface.

History Of Use

Used as a backstrap loom where the unwoven end is tied to a fixed object and the other end, the woven part, is rolled up to put it in a convenient working position and then tied around the weaver's body.

Narrative

Bought from one of the indigenous workers at the place where Frame was staying. His wife was weaving a belt using the loom and beater.
