Description
Miniature totem pole mounted on a circular cross section of branch with bark attached. Figures from bottom to top: bear-like figure, frog, eagle, and thunderbird with spread wings. Painted orange, blue, black, red and brown. Inscription on reverse: "Made in Kyuquot BC".
Narrative
This pole bears significant stylistic resemblance to model pole A8764 and to model pole 2016-123/22 at the Burke Museum, indicating a possibility that all three poles were made by the same artist.
