Mortar, Stone Item Number: 1989-57/3-302 from the The Burke: University of Washington

Description

According to Bergen's notes: "a fine grained granite stone mortar." Artifact has flat bottom with flared sides (G. Rappaport 03/12/2002). Ground exterior and interior surfaces, cracks are visible on both exterior and interior surfaces. Some cracks appear to have been filled with consolidents.
