Maul, Stone Item Number: 1989-57/2-494 from the The Burke: University of Washington
Stone maul/pestle. Top is grooved circumferentially; base has four longitudinal grooves. According to Bergen, this artifact was broken and repaired. The two pieces were apparently found thirty feet apart in the site. LSP, 10/29/2001 "Bergen Notes: Carved maul, 8 1/2" tall. Fluted base, broken and repaired. Two halves found 30 feet apart."
