Description

Point with convex margins, convex base, with oblique, inconspicuous notching forming small shoulders. The material is a creamy green and orangish-tan chalcedony. Very thin and well flaked, and is likely a modern reproduction. See Notes in activity window for details. Included is note that reads: "Marvellously lovely Pale Salmon and Blue-Green Moss Chalcedony Point broadly lanceolate, from Lincoln county, Nevada. 4 1/16 inches Long x 1 5/8 inches widest (across middle and not in this across barbs-- across barbs 1 1/2 inches). 1/4 inch thick. Tang 3/4 inche long with gently curving base; barbs 3/16 deep Tang base 1 1/8 inch broad." and "Superbly Lovely Pale Salmon and Blue-Green Moss Chalcedony Point. Locality: Lincoln County, Nevada.
