Basketry fragments imbeded in clay. Rehoused two clay chunks with basketry fragments loosely attached in ethafoam insets. Along with one bag of clay debris. I removed and bagged two tags from object. One is a museum tag with site #, accn. #, and object #. The other tag appears to be older and only has object # on it (see archives). 06/29/04 B. Avery. Very coarse stitch, 3 - 5 stitches per inch. Associated with large junks of clay. Bottom: n/a Provenience: Cut: 4N 27E Horiz. Loc.: 80N - N of 0N- 80E - 27E Depth: 129 cm Warp Max: 1.00 Warp Min: .58 Warp Mean: .74 Weft Max: Weft Min: Weft Mean: .39 Material: cedar root - split Remarks: Very fragmentary. Only used 5 warp and weft measurments. Size impossible to tell. No decoration or shape evident.
