Description
Round coin with denticles around edge. One side has an image of a central coyote with four beavers around it. The words, "BRITISH COLUMBIA," "CURRENCY VALUE $1.00 EXPIRES July 31, 1978," "1978 OKANAGAN DOLLAR," and "Toussowasket" are in raised lettering around the edge. Other side has a central bust of a man wearing an eagle hat and a tooth necklace. The dates, "c1780" and "c1865," are in raised lettering on either side of the head and name, "NICOLA" is above (an Okanagan chief).
