Cordage Item Number: 45SK59B/38 from the The Burke: University of Washington
Two pieces of split wood were tied together with string and original tag #38, in drawer. One measures 5.8 cm long - 0.7 cm wide, and is flat. The other measures 6.2 cm in long - 0.8 cm wide, and has approx. 1.0 cm bent extentsion at widest end. The end that is bent also shows some delamination. Rehoused 4/2004, I left the original tag in place since the description does not exactly match the Basketry Card. B.
