Round lid that tapers towards the bottom and has a wide rim at the top. The lid is red in colour and has possibly been dipped in red clay slip.

History Of Use

This is used for boiling or for preparing rice. Rice beer is also prepared in this type of pot (called chukka, the large size called charco).
