Description
Print depicting two adult caribou, one with orange and yellow antlers, and one young caribou in the foreground. Behind the caribou with orange antlers is a caribou with short black antlers. All three caribou are running and have a protruding pink tongue. Below the image is written, "Fleeing Caribou Stonecut & Stencil 46/50 Dorset 1991 Kananginak," with the name of the artist written in Inuit syllabics. The name of the printmaker and the Cape Dorset stylized red igloo seal are printed in the bottom right-hand corner.
