Ceramic figure of an owl. Round head with pointed ears, a small protruding beak and circular eyes. Rounded torso painted to represent feathers, with crescent shaped wings protruding from sides, and small feet at bottom. On back, at bottom, small crescent shaped area representing the tail feathers.
Collected by Walter C. Koerner from the Desert Museum Gift Shop in Palm Springs, then gifted to Audrey Hawthorn in either 1960 or 1970.
