Description

Headdress of thirteen wooden feathers, metal headband and two sets of fabric ties. Feathers radiate from a central nail attached to headband. End of each feather is decorated. Feathers are joined with string. Curved headband has two side pieces. Ties are knotted.

Narrative

Tom Richardson purchased the headdress from Mrs. McVicker. Maude McVicker once owned 'The Hobbies Shop' in Victoria, and owned property near Metchosin.
