Description

Mask carved from one piece of wood in the shape of a human face. Pronounced brow ridges and cheekbones, nose and lips. Eyes have holes carved through the centres and are painted black around the holes. Brows are black. Lips, nose, forehead and ear areas are painted red.

Narrative

Ernie Angus said the mask was made by his grandfather and was meant to have human hair on it.
