Medium to dark brown. Find #89 on the Field Catalog Form indicates the provenience as: Unit 2S3, Level 4, Comments: "Frag 2-strand cordage with braided reeds." Field #38 in field notebook #1reads: "Twine, Sq. or Pit #: 2S3, Surf D: 29", Loc.: 10" N of 2S3, 4" W of 2S3, Rathbun, 6/29/53, Field #38, Assoc.: With braided cordage, Remarks: Occupation level."
