Description

Apron, waist to calf length, made of four vertical sections of black cloth. Five horizontal rows of decorations sewn on lower half. The upper row is made of red felt with straight upper edge along which are sewn eleven large beads, with toothed lower edge. The second row is a crocheted green, dark blue and red-brown band sewn in an horizontal zigzag pattern with alternating gold or silver painted beads hanging on a thread at each point. The third row is a band of red felt with a toothed upper edge. The fourth row is white rickrack sewn in a zigzag with two long brown wooden beads and one round pink wooden bead tied to each upper point with a strip of skin. Bottom row is a red fringe which hangs below the lower edge of the apron. Two white ties are at the upper corners.
