Mat Item Number: A7854 from the MOA: University of British Columbia

A very long, narrow, woven mat. A pair of dark strands near the edge of each side provide decoration. Edges are finished by including a wide strip of cedar as the outermost strand and overcasting on a core of cedar.
Said to be used at feasts, as a table mat.
Meade's notes say the mat was collected at Nuchatlitz village; owner not recorded.
