Description

Carved mask with headdress that projects upwards into a bird-like creature with a fish in its beak. Headdress portion curves back down connecting the end of the fish to the forehead. Overall, the mask is decorated with painted stripes, small white circles, and geometric shapes, especially on the headdress. Face is black in colour, has protruding eyelids, cut-out eyes, pointed nose and pursed lips. Back is hollowed out and red string ties through two of six holes around the edges.
