Glazed ceramic scene showing seven Brazilian travellers; one man, three women, a girl, boy and a baby. All are walking except for the baby and an older woman leading on a pack animal. Two of the women are carrying bundles on their heads and the man has a gun and a pack on his shoulders. Three goats, including a baby goat carried by the girl, travel with the group. All figures are brightly painted, and their skin is left unglazed in the natural brown of the clay. The scene is mounted on a bright blue ceramic base. Stamp on base.
