History Of Use

Macawiis's were introduced to the Horn of Africa as a result of trading with south and southeast Asia. Macawiis’s tend to have high-key colours and patterns and are sold pre-sewn in a cylindrical shape. They are worn wrapped around the waist several times and are typically casual wear.
