Plaque Item Number: 2600/14 a-h from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Description

Set of 8 plaques in two sizes. All are elongated boards with a series of jutting edges, depicting the stylized figure of a spirit familiar. The four larger plaques (parts a-d) have a stylized head on each end, no features. Their bodies are painted with geometric designs of zigzags and dots, painted in brown and pink. The four smaller plaques (parts e-h) have similar designs in brown only, along with a painted image of a simplified human figure. Painted decorations are on one side only. Each plaque was tied to one of four poles, each time a red one and a black one, opposing each other.
