Hook made from two pieces of wood. The main body is V-shaped and the tip is bent inwards to snare the prey. Braided coir rope is wound around the glued segment of the two pieces and around the end of the hook extending upwards into a loop.
Bossen worked as a veterinarian for FAO/UNDP in Samoa from 1973-75.
